“ I don't know how this place gets bad reviews! Don't trust them. The brisket (anything) is out of this world. So is the queso :) ”
“ Went here as a last minute decision for dinner and was not disappointed. Our margaritas were delicious and the food was so good! Our waitress was excellent and the outdoor seating was very nice. We will definitely go back again. ”
“ Restaurant Rating: 4/5 Service Rating: 4/5 Food Rating: 3/5 Parking: Free Parking Lot Restaurant: This restaurant is quite fascinating, as it is housed in a former firehouse. There's plenty of seating available, including options in the bar area and outside. Service: The service was good; our waitress was attentive and professional. Food: Here's what we ordered: *Chips and Queso: Just okay for the price; any store-bought queso would do the job. *Beer Battered Fish: Very good. *Achiote Shrimp: Very good. *Side of Fries: Cold and stale. It seemed like the fries were cooked too early and left sitting out before being served. Conclusion: If you're craving tacos and don't have other options nearby, this place will do. However, it's not really worth the price, with small tacos costing around $6-$8.50 each. There also seems to be a common complaint about food coming out cold, likely due to poor temperature control or coordination in the kitchen. ”
“ I ordered the migas breakfast taco. Excellent start to my day! Slightly smoky flavor and the crushed corn tortillas added an interesting texture. Staff was professional and welcoming. ”
“ Good food and options, our server was very nice. Only four stars because it was ridiculously loud. But overall had a great time, will definitely go again. ”
“ Estrella is our favorite porch spot in downingtown! We come here and sip strong margs and snack on some chips and queso while we people watch. Queso is amazing and chips are salty and crispy. (I can't explain it but the red chips are the best). Steak tacos always hit. Service is always prompt and drinks keep coming if you want them to. Porch and whole outdoor area is dog friendly! ”
“ Friendly staff, many types of tacos, BBQ, and cocktails/beers to choose from. Highly recommend stopping in to try. ”
“ Took my son Joey this afternoon for a quick bite ! Had Pop's Nachos and Brisket Taco and a Breakfast Taco. Couple of pints. Sat at the bar and thoroughly enjoyed the eats and drinks. Nachos were delicious, steak bites on top were super tender! Brisket taco was very good as well. Bartender was pleasant and engaging and after an initial wait for her service she got to us and was great! The old firehouse building is super cool and cool on a super hot day! ”
